Today we are going to discuss an important definition that I think people misuse all the time.

What is a chandelier?

The dictionary definition of the word chandelier is:

A decorative ceiling-mounted hanging light with branches for several light bulbs or candles.

The key to that definition that definition which seems to always get lost in the excitement of decorating a home is that a chandelier has branches for several light bulbs or candles.
